Tried the pie+mash yesterday at Konch's Kafe....was quite impressed by the quality of the food (they get the pies shipped in).
Service a bit patchy but is ok....deffo a big step up from Angies...décor much the same,and a pain to find unless u know its there.
Worth a try.

If it came from the continent it would be called "quaint peasant food" but because it is English it is unworthy. It is a tasty nutritious meal which has sustained the downtrodden English worker for years. Done properly there is nothing better although if you eat too much there is no room for beer after
